“I didn’t know 100% recycled paper could be this beautiful and this strong!
Besides being comfortable, knowing it’s a sustainable product makes it even
more meaningful to use. I love carrying it around!”

“It’s so beautifully made that I even feel like using my laptop more frequently!
It makes a great gift, especially the art edition ones.”

“The concept is incredible, there are so many different ways to use!
And it feels so light it doesn’t even seem to be inside my bag.”

g.flow Art Edition artists, Hyun-woo Kim, and Kyung-wook Bae

Art Edition

We collaborate with able artists, artists with disabilities, for the g.flow art edition.

Our goal is to continue working with vulnerable people, giving them opportunities for exposure, creating
a circular economy and a profitable collaborative platform.

The Pyramid’s Maze, illustrated by Hyun-woo Kim

The artist Hyun-woo Kim is transforming everything he sees and feels into ‘pixel’ shapes.
He is immersed in drawing for over 8 hours a day, making his unique world through pixels.
His pixels go beyond the canvas, expressed on notes, recitals, media, and products.

Sunset, illustrated by Kyoung-wook Bae

The combination of the artist’s daring brush movements and color express passion and hope.
The colors and brush movements on his naturalistic and abstract works are free and they are composed of daily
subjects that seem to embrace the pains of life in an open-minded approach.

“I hope people who are sick like me will see my paintings and be healthier and happier,” he says.

The beauty of less

Minimal Resources and Skills. We care about every step of our product’s lifecycle
and its connection to the environment,
from the production process to its disposal.

Using minimal resources and technology and eliminating unnecessary elements our design goal.

The beauty of more

It can be slower, but we are together. Young people with intellectual disabilities
are a vital part of our team and of our society’s diversity, their talents and skills are what gives life to our products.

We help them get more visibility by building a collaborative environment through employment and profit-sharing systems.

Who we are

We are a sustainable design lab which does various experiments to solve
environmental and social issues from
a design point of view.

We take a different approach to solve the world’s urgent issues, focusing on analog
technologies, wasted resources
and vulnerable people in marginal areas of our society.

The Founder

Alice Kim was a UX designer with 10+ years of experience in the IT area and one
of the initial members of Kakao, a popular mobile service in Korea.
Her creation, Kakao’s emoticon service,
generated high profit for the company and for local cartoonists.

After concluding her Masters in Sustainable Design at Kingston University
in the UK, she changed her path,
deciding to solve the world’s problems from a
designer
point of view.

She is keen to build a sustainable circular economic system, focusing on wasted
materials, marginalized artists and minorities.
